Jesus Loves
You Ministries is a group of Christians who are accepting the
commission that our Lord Jesus gives us in Mark 16:15 when He
says; “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all
creation.” Our team is currently traveling around the nation,
evangelizing and ministering to counter culture groups. Many
are being healed, saved, and delivered as a wonderful demonstration
of the power of the Holy Ghost.
Presently,
the Lord has led us to minister directly to the Rainbow Family
of Living Love and Light. This counter culture group, established
in the earlyy 70's, consists largely of American nomads - an
eclectic band of New Agers, Hare Krishnas, Buddhists, hippies,
gutter punks, and teenage runaways, - who have been rejected
by mainstream society, and are now finding acceptance in each
other. The group gathers in numbers from two hundred to over
40,000 in national forests to worship many gods. Some of them
are known to follow tours of bands like The Other Ones (the
remainder of the Grateful Dead), Phish, Widespread Panic, etc.
Because
we are called to reach this people group, we choose to live
among them, traveling to Gatherings and setting up a camp where
we give away free food, clothing and supplies. From this place
of refuge, we also minister in word and in song, while continually
interceding for these people. While we do minister to their
physical needs, our main concern is the human spirit. We do
all we can to demonstrate to them that eternal life is an intimate,
personal, love relationship with the Most High, not a religion.
